AecBatchStylesEditor is available in 4 different Editions, each applying to a pre-defined set of host application AEC Object Types. These Object Types are grouped into 3 categories: Base, Architecture, and MEP.
Note: For a description of which Host Application Object Types correspond to each of the 3 AecBatchStylesEditor Object Type groupings, see the Object Types to Edit Chart below.
Each Edition includes identical editing functionality, however; with regard to: Property Sets, Classifications, Materials, and Display Properties.
Available Versions and Editions, the Object Types that each may edit, and the corresponding Autodesk Host Application(s) that each is compatible with, are indicated in the chart below:
Edition Descriptions
Evaluation (EVAL) Edition
The EVAL Edition is intended to be a "trial version" of AecBatchStylesEditor. It is free to download, and is freely distributable. There is no date expiration or total number of uses limitation associated with it's installation and execution. It applies to only the "Mass Element" AEC Object Type, however, with all other possible AEC Object Types disabled, regardless of the host application context.
The EVAL Edition may not be converted or un-locked to become a fully-functional and licensed version. If you wish to upgrade to a fully-functional licensed version of AecBathStylesEditor, you must purchase and download it separately.
Architectural (ARCH) Edition
The ARCH Edition is a fully-functional licensed version of AecBatchStylesEditor that works with both Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture and Autodesk AutoCAD MEP. "Base" and "Architecture" Object types are exposed in either Host Application context.
MEP Edition
The MEP Edition is a fully-functional licensed version of AecBatchStylesEditor that works with Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture ("Base" Object types only) and Autodesk AutoCAD MEP ("MEP" and "Base" Object types).
FULL Edition
The FULL Edition is a fully-functional licensed version of AecBatchStylesEditor that works with both Autodesk AutoCAD Architecture ("Base" and "Architecture" Object types) and Autodesk AutoCAD MEP ("Base", "Architecture" and "MEP" Object types).
